A Message from our CJP Executive Director
As the Executive Director of the Charlotte Jewish Preschool, I have the privilege of leading this incredibly unique, community-centric, and innovative preschool. Every day I walk into work and feel proud to be a part of a school that staff, students, and parents call home.
I have called CJP my home now for over seven years. Initially, I joined the CJP family as the Assistant Director. Coming from nine years in elementary Education, working in early childhood education was new, challenging, exciting, and pulled at my heartstrings. Honestly, I fell in love with early childhood, and CJP all at the same time! As the Executive Director of the Charlotte Jewish Preschool for the past three years, I am grateful for our strong partnerships, values, teachers, children, families, facilities, curriculum, and beautiful community as they set us apart from all the rest, and continue to make CJP the place to be!
This year, one of main initiatives is to nurture a school culture that puts Judaic values in the forefront, while we work to provide young children with a secure and loving atmosphere in which to grow, develop a positive self-image, and learn the joy of Jewish life.
